How to prepare for an on-site visit

A little setup saves the visit:

• Have the machine plugged in and, if possible, at the password screen (or write down the login you'll allow us to use).
• Know whether you care more about files or the computer. That changes the job.
• If it's a virus scare screen, leave it. Don't click "call this number."
• Pets and a clear bit of table help more than people expect.
• If we might take it to the shop, have a charger and any external drives you want considered.

Berwick-area visits are Monday–Friday 8am–4pm unless we booked a weekend appointment.
